Because we are foster-based and have limited capacity, we may not be able to take the rabbit in right away, but we will do our best to help with next steps, guidance, and outreach.

We are a very small, foster-based rescue with limited space, so we are often at or near capacity. While we cannot guarantee intake, we will always do our best to offer whatever support we can.

No. We do not have a physical shelter or facility at this time. Coastal Carolina Rabbit Rescue is a foster-based rescue, which means the rabbits in our care live in volunteer foster homes. Because we only have a small number of active fosters, our ability to take in new rabbits depends entirely on available foster space.

Yes. If we are unable to take in your rabbit, we can provide a step-by-step rehoming guide to help you safely and thoughtfully find a new home. If you follow that guide and send us clear photos and information about your rabbit, we may also be able to help promote them through our social media, e-newsletter, and website.

The more information you can share, the better. Helpful details include your rabbit’s age, sex, spay/neuter status, personality, litter box habits, medical history, diet, and any important background. Clear photos and a short write-up about why the rabbit needs a new home are also very helpful if we are able to assist with promotion.

Sometimes, yes. If the issue is related to housing, supplies, behavior, or feeling overwhelmed, we may be able to offer guidance and resources that help make keeping your rabbit more manageable. In some cases, small changes in setup or routine can make a big difference.
